As a junior from Salado, Texas, I grew up surrounded by horses, often riding alongside my grandfather at his roping events. This upbringing fostered a unique bond with horses and instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility for their care. Driven by this passion, I began competing in horse shows in 2017. I am excited about the opportunity to continue my passion and riding career at a collegiate level. I am currently competing in the Equitation and Junior Hunters. I have already produced top results and currently under the training of Nada Wise & Sophie Rueben at Rendezvous Farm.
In addition to riding my own horse, I have been fortunate enough to have been able to ride a variety of horses to include young, green horses with various temperaments to ponies. One of my most rewarding achievements is training a rescue pony from the ground up and double qualifying her Pony Finals our first show out. She was a pony known for running out of the end gate and non-existent lead changes but through determination and hard work we accomplished something that many doubted would not happen.
I truly love helping younger kids with the lead line, guiding them as they tack up and untack their ponies, and being a supportive role model as they build confidence and learn new skills.
I attend Texas Connection Academy, where I have maintained a GPA of 4.0 and currently taking honors/AP level courses. In addition to the demands of riding and studying I am equally committed to community service at our local Heart and Hands Ministries.
I am excited about the recruiting process; I am confident that I would be a valuable addition to any team. I bring a team-player mindset, coachability, and unwavering dedication to the sport.
Fun Fact: I love box work!
